At Decopanel, we are a fabricator specializing in high-quality panel surface applications. Based in Penrose, Auckland, our 6,000 square meter facility is where the magic happens. We’ve got the space, the tools, and most importantly, the people to get the job done right.

Our team is a tight-knit group of 20 to 30 folks who live and breathe this industry. Led by a management team with nearly 30 years of experience in New Zealand’s panel and plywood industry, we’re not just working a job here—we’re doing what we love. We’re a bunch of dedicated professionals who know the ins and outs of panel production, and we’re always looking to push the envelope.

Back in 2020, we took a big step forward by bringing in two top-of-the-line production lines. One is a fully automated PUR production line that’s all about precision and efficiency, and the other is an 8-machine setup that handles everything from cutting to finishing Timber Veneer. What does that mean for you? It means you get consistent quality, every time, and we get to keep things running smoothly.

We’re serious about sourcing the best materials too. We go to great lengths to bring in top-notch veneer/films for all our products—whether it’s Timber Veneer, ASA (the new generation acrylic), or HPL. We ensure these materials come from companies with the right certifications and a proven track record. These premium surfaces are then applied to locally sourced, environmentally friendly substrates like MDF and plywood. We trust and rely on top New Zealand suppliers, including Daiken and Nelson Pine, to provide us with the highest quality MDF.

And here’s the thing—we’re flexible. If there’s a substrate out there that you need, and it fits our machines, we can work with it. Whether it’s fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, plywood, MDF, or anything else, if we can get our hands on it, we can process it to meet your needs.

We’ve spent a lot of time working with architects, designers, kitchen manufacturers, commercial shop fitters, and big distributors. Each project teaches us something new, and we’ve learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why we’re all about customization and OEM services.
